Three More LIA Loss Prevention CE Seminars with the Kentucky Real Estate Appraisers Board in February, March and April 2011

These joint CE events with LIA and the Kentucky Real Estate Appraisers Board have been popular.  116 appraisers attended the first CE event on January 14 in Bowling Green.

More than 150 appraisers have signed up for the second event on February 11, 2011 in Louisville, and we look forward to giving the event again on March 11, 2011 in Lexington and April 15, 2011 in Florence.  The presenters of LIA's Loss Prevention Program portion on February 11 will be Robert A. Wiley (LIA's assistant vice president), J. Gordon Forester, Jr. (a Washington, DC attorney who has defended appraisers), and me (Peter Christensen, LIA's general counsel).  Gordon and I will be the presenters of LIA's portion on March 11 and April 15.

On each date, LIA's representatives will present its loss prevention seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and Larry Disney will then present the latest news and views of the KREAB, including state and federal legislation and regulatory matters from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A total 7.0 hours of KREAB CE credit is approved for each day.  The scheduled dates and cities are:
  • Louisville on February 11, 2011
  • Lexington on March 11, 2011
  • Florence on April 15, 2011
